FACTS WHAT DOES FIRST CREDIT UNION DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

How does First Credit Union protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
How does First Credit Union collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • Use your debit card or complete a transaction
  • Request information online or in person about products or services
Why can't I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only
  • sharing for affiliaes' everyday business purposes-information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
  • First Credit Union does not have any affiliates.
Nonaffiliates Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
  • First Credit Union does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you except for our joint marketing arrangements.
Joint marketing A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
  • Our joint marketing partners included non-financial companies that perform support services and financial service providers.
Other important information
Certain features (such as payment services) of your digital banking and mobile banking app need to access your device's contacts in order to complete transactions efficiently. Also, certain features require access to your camera (for facial recognition or for mobile deposit). In addition, the mobile banking app also may periodically collect, transmit, and use geolocation information to support features that prevent fraudulent card use and alerts, but only if you expressly authorize collection of such information. You may choose whether geolocation information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background, only while the app is being used, or not at all. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.
